Creating A Cozy Corner in Kids Bedrooms

Styling a Cute and Cozy Corner in a Kid’s Bedroom

There are so many adorable things out there for kids and babies and I really enjoy creating little corners in the boys bedrooms and making them extra cozy. I just added a couple extra things to this space here and it made all the difference. I also love moving things around, sometimes from room to room, and other times just within the space itself. It’s fun to experiment and switch things up from time to time. Just some little things I did here was adding the pillow and blankets to the basket along with a couple dolls that were previously on his shelves. Those are the little things that are fun to play around with until you find something that is visually appealing.

Styling Tips For a Cohesive Look

When designing a room it’s a good idea to think about the color scheme you want to go with and try to evenly mix and match your color choices across the whole space. Here in Cullen’s room I had a dark grey crib and rocking chair but I really wanted to incorporate natural wood tones and creams/tans/browns. Instead of ordering everything else in white or ivory I made sure to still add some grey to this side of the room to tie it in with the crib and rocker on the other side. Insert the lamp and light blue tones in the blanket and doll. Combined this helps to bring the space together. Then on the side with the crib and rocker I added neutral tones in the sheets, curtains, and blankets.
