Entryway Design Inspo

Moving in to a new house takes a long time to get settled, at least for me it does. Part of this is because our new house is about twice as big as our old house so that’s a lot of new furniture and artwork to add. I am trying to make mindful purchases to assure I still love the pieces many years to come. It’s also overwhelming to think of all the spaces that still need to be designed, deciding exactly how I want to decorate and then ordering everything. So, I’ve decided it might be best to focus on one or two spaces at a time so I can finally have some areas that feel completed in this house.

I put together a mood board for each space so I can see how everything comes together. I will continue to share these with you along the way and of course, once I’ve got everything together I will be looking forward to sharing the end results! Thank you for following along 🙂

Entryway Table Decorated for Fall

My entryway table is decorated for Fall! I kind of have a pumpkin obsession and you will find them all over our house this time of year. I realized I didn’t have too much for fall florals so I stopped at Michael’s and found quite a few I really liked. I am not always a big fan of their faux stems that have green leaves, they usually look too fake, but they had a bunch of options that didn’t have leaves. The ones pictured above were all from Michael’s this season and I am very impressed with them. My vases are all Hearth and Hand from Target but they are older so I tried to find some similar ones to link. I also love using those round wooden pieces all over the house, they’re perfect for candles and add great dimension to a space. I found a very similar one here. I usually find them at smaller boutique home decor stores. A lot of mine are from Christmas Point. If you live in MN they have a store in Walker and another in the Brainerd area, such a cute store, definitely recommend checking it out!
